NEW NAME, SAME GAME

Cfclogo_3 Chilliwack FC Comes Of Age

Chilliwack Youth Soccer Association has taken a major step forward and boldly changed the club name to the Chilliwack Football Club.

The name change is a direct result of the club's recent acceptance into the Pacific Coast Soccer League where they will be offering a U21 division for their graduating U18 players and young adults who wish to continue to play at a high level.

"It's an exciting time for our newly named club as we embark on new paths and forge ahead with new initiatives and player development", according to CFC Head Coach Ian Knight. "The new name is falling in line with the modernization taking place within North America...FC...reflective of the World's Game".

While the club name has changed to CFC the philosophy has not. There is an emphasis to the citizens of the City of Chilliwack and surrounding areas to play the 'World's' Game and enjoy the programs offered.
